The brief? To launch a new editorial platform for Dan Murphy’s that reinvigorates all things drinks and culture in Australia — the go-to site when you’re on the prowl for a spicy marg, want to know wtf a wheat ale is, or desperately need help planning your wedding wine list.

Our creative response? A standout campaign shot across two days (one in a retro home in Coburg and the other at the forever iconic Hope Street Radio) that’s quirky, fashion-forward and ultimately just f*^#ing cool.

We wanted to showcase the many ways drinks intersect in different aspects of our lives — like kicking back with a beer on a balcony, sipping on a glass of red while whipping up a delicious pappardelle, or grabbing a negroni with friends — while also highlighting common conundrums for the modern, beverage-loving human. Things like, ‘where’s the hottest date spot in my neighbourhood?’ and ‘what actually is the difference between tequila and mezcal?’.

A rich, colourful and unique campaign that featured on just about every bus stop Australia-wide, this will forever go down as one of our favourites.
